International Nickel Ventures ("INV") is a Canadian mineral resource company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of base metal projects. Current projects are located in Brazil and Ontario. INV's primary asset is a 20.25% beneficial interest in two advanced-stage nickel laterite deposits, Santa Fé and Iporá, in the Goiás nickel camp of Brazil.

On January 17, 2008 INV announced new National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101") mineral resource estimates for Santa Fé and Iporá, using a cutoff grade of 0.8% nickel, of 35.7 million tonnes of Indicated Mineral Resources grading 1.14% nickel, and 104.3 million tonnes of Inferred Mineral Resources grading 1.03% nickel, using all data available to October 15, 2007.

Also in Brazil, INV has an option agreement with a local private group over the Damolândia and Niquelândia properties, as well as 100% ownership in an extensive land package, which now totals 487,734 hectares in Goiás, Pará and Tocantins States, considered prospective for both lateritic and sulphide nickel deposits. INV is currently focusing on the Taquaral property, a high-priority area within this land package, and is carrying out exploration activity to identify possible drill targets.

In addition to its Brazilian projects, INV has acquired three prospective projects in northern Ontario from FNX Mining Company Inc. Two projects, Lansdowne House and Fishtrap, are located adjacent to the James Bay Lowlands area near the McFaulds Lake high grade nickel-copper-precious metals discovery. The third property, Montcalm, is adjacent to Xstrata Nickel's producing Montcalm nickel mine in the Timmins area and covers four kilometres of the interpreted strike extension of the Montcalm deposit's host rocks.
